Job summary

Pacific Clinics seeks compassionate professionals to join its Mobile Crisis Response Team serving San Benito County. The role delivers 24/7 crisis intervention and stabilization services, helping individuals in mental health emergencies with a person-centered, trauma-informed approach.

You will respond in the community, de-escalate crises, coordinate access to higher levels of care when needed, and connect clients to local resources.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; two years of relevant experience equals one year of education
• Minimum 18 years of age
• Must know or quickly acquire extensive knowledge of local community resources
• Be able to articulate the experience and perspective of individuals with complex needs involving mental health, homelessness, or probation services

Responsibilities

• Provides direct services to individuals in crisis in community settings
• Provides direct billable mental health services, documents in alignment with MediCal regulations, and achieves set productivity expectations
• Engages and builds alignment with individuals' family and natural supports
• Utilizes strengths of individuals and natural supports to assist in goal achievement
• Creates strength-based crisis interventions and planning with individuals and families
• Conducts observations to support identified outcomes
• Assists individuals in developing a hypothesis of function and unmet needs for targeted interventions
• Works with individuals and/or family to develop safety and skill refinement plans
• Drives to individuals in crisis at identified locations
• Performs other responsibilities as assigned

Compensation We Offer

• The initial compensation for this position ranges from $31.40 - $38.61 per hour, depending on experience, location, and internal equity considerations

Possible Additional Compensation

(may vary based on position eligibility)

• 8% License Differential for LMFT, LCSW, LPCC, PsyD. and select Peer Certifications
• Possible Bilingual Differentials: Up to 7.5% for qualifying direct service roles; up to $80.00/month flat fee for qualifying non-direct service roles.

About Our Program:

Pacific Clinics provides 24/7 Mobile Crisis Response services for residents of San Benito County. Our multidisciplinary Crisis Response Team delivers community-based crisis intervention 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year, helping individuals experiencing mental health or behavioral health crises.

Our team responds with compassion, professionalism, and a person-centered approach to de-escalate crises involving individuals who may be experiencing suicidal thoughts, homicidal thoughts, or grave disability. When appropriate, the team also coordinates access to higher levels of care, including hospitalization and other supportive services, to ensure individuals receive the care they need.

Pacific Clinics is seeking compassionate, motivated professionals to join our Mobile Crisis Response Team serving San Benito County. We are looking for individuals who are skilled in crisis intervention, de-escalation, and collaborative, trauma-informed care. This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact by helping individuals access timely, compassionate care when they need it most.

Job Summary

Oversees a program that provides 24/7 crisis response and stabilization services to individuals experiencing a mental health crisis. Intervenes with crisis behaviors while developing the individuals strengths and interests. Responsible for linking to community resources. Helps to create permanent connections for individual. May search, locate, and engage individuals' natural supports. Assists with transitioning individual to the lowest level of care needed.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct services individuals in crisis in community setting
• Provides direct billable mental health services, documents in alignment with MediCal regulations, and achieves set productivity expectations.
• Engages and builds alignment and relationships with individuals' family, and natural supports.
• Utilizes strengths of individuals and natural supports to assist in the implementation and achievement of goals and outcomes.
• Works individuals and/or family/natural supports to create strength-based planning and crisis interventions.
• Understands and takes advantage of therapeutic opportunities in crisis situations.
• Conducts observations regarding specific target behavior of individual or youth to support their intended identified outcome.
• Assists individuals in developing a hypothesis of function and underlying unmet need to develop individualized, strength-based strategies and interventions that will result in positive behavior change.
• Works in the community directly with individuals and/or family to develop and implement safety and skill refinement plans.
• Driving to individuals in crisis in the location identified.
• Position specific duties and responsibilities may vary depending upon program.
• Performs other responsibilities, as assigned, to support department/business needs.
