Job summary

Pacific Clinics seeks Crisis Peer Specialists for the Mobile Crisis Response Team serving Nevada County. The role involves crisis assessment and de-escalation in the community, with a focus on supporting individuals having acute mental health crises.

The team delivers 24/7 crisis response and stabilization services, coordinating with housing providers, healthcare, behavioral services and local partners, and referring to ongoing services.

Qualifications

• Must have at least a high school diploma or GED, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 18 years of age.
• Extensive knowledge of local community resources.
• Ability to articulate experiences of individuals with complex needs.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct services to individuals in crisis in community settings.
• Provides direct billable mental health services, documents in alignment with MediCal regulations, and achieves set productivity expectations.
• Engages and builds alignment and relationships with individuals' family, and natural supports.
• Uses strengths of individuals and natural supports to assist in achieving goals and outcomes.
• Develops strength-based crisis planning and interventions with individuals and families.
