The position requires a master's degree in a related field and at least two years of relevant experience, with crisis intervention training

Qualifications

• Possess an advanced degree in a relevant field and be equipped to manage complex behavioral health cases.
• Experience in behavioral health or criminal justice settings is preferred.
• Complete mandatory crisis training within specified timeframes.

Responsibilities

• Connect individuals referred by authorized sources with behavioral health services and community supports.
• Partner with law enforcement to strengthen crisis intervention and diversion efforts.
• Coordinate services with courts, treatment teams, and justice partners to improve system responses.
• Work with jails on screenings, re-entry planning, and continuity of care after release.
• Support crisis initiatives including co-responder programs and 988 coordination.
• Educate stakeholders on resources, crisis response, and de-escalation
