Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a mental health discipline.
• Must be 23 years of age or older; has and maintains a valid Alabama driver’s license with a good driving record and proof of current liability insurance.

Responsibilities

• Responds to crisis calls in a timely manner.
• Makes face to face visits when calls come into CarePointe or the Outreach Liaison.
• Provides services in the community, consumer’s homes, etc.
• Demonstrates the ability to recognize the elements of a crisis state and knows how to deescalate or resolve the situation.
• Effectively determines the level of response needed in crisis situations.
• Assists in contacting family members if needed.
• Communicates effectively with CarePointe to assist in finding appropriate placement when necessary.
