Job summary

TAG MedStaffing, on behalf of its client, is seeking a Crisis Mental Health Clinician in Northern Michigan for an in-office role. The position provides behavioral health support, conducts assessments, crisis services, and coordinates care as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Qualified candidates hold a Master's in a behavioral health field, Michigan licensure, and at least one year of relevant clinical experience, with proficiency in electronic documentation and use of EHR systems.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or related behavioral health field.
• Current or eligible Michigan behavioral health licensure.
• At least 1 year of mental health, behavioral health, crisis intervention, or related clinical experience.
• Knowledge of behavioral health assessment, crisis intervention, care coordination, and community-based services.
• Experience completing clinical assessments and behavioral health documentation using electronic systems.
• Strong clinical judgment, crisis de-escalation, communication, collaboration, organization, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct behavioral health assessments to evaluate client needs and determine care recommendations.
• Provide crisis intervention, stabilization, and de-escalation support for individuals experiencing behavioral health concerns.
• Coordinate behavioral health services, referrals, and links to community resources.
• Develop care recommendations and support individuals through referral and treatment.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation per professional standards.

Schedule: Monday to Friday (In-Office)

TAG MedStaffing is hiring a Crisis Mental Health Clinician in Northern Michigan for our client. This role will provide behavioral health support to individuals experiencing a range of mental health needs. The Crisis Mental Health Clinician will conduct assessments, provide crisis support, maintain clinical documentation, and coordinate services as part of a multidisciplinary care team.

Responsibilities as the Crisis Mental Health Clinician:

• Clinical Assessment: Conduct behavioral health assessments to evaluate client needs and determine appropriate care recommendations.
• Crisis Intervention: Provide crisis intervention, stabilization, and de-escalation support for individuals experiencing behavioral health concerns.
• Care Coordination: Coordinate behavioral health services, referrals, and connections to appropriate community resources.
• Clinical Support: Develop appropriate care recommendations and support individuals throughout the referral and treatment process.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with professional standards.

Qualifications for the Crisis Mental Health Clinician:

• Education: Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related behavioral health field is required.
• Licensure: Current or eligible Michigan behavioral health professional licensure is required.
• Experience: 1+ years of mental health, behavioral health, crisis intervention, or related clinical experience is required.
• Industry Knowledge: Knowledge of behavioral health assessment, crisis intervention, care coordination, and community-based mental health services is required.
• Technical Skills: Experience completing clinical assessments and behavioral health documentation using electronic systems is required.
• Skills & Attributes: Strong clinical judgment, crisis de-escalation, communication, collaboration, organization, and interpersonal skills are required.
