Job summary

Telecare Corporation in Bakersfield, CA is seeking a compassionate case manager to provide screening, assessment, and linkage services for clients and families in crisis.

Under supervision you will connect individuals to mental health supports, coordinate with community resources, and support crisis intervention activities.

The role offers day/evening shifts with pay ranging from $23.00 to $27.63 per hour, plus benefits and compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• High School/GED with 3 years direct mental health/community services or Associate’s with 2 years, or Bachelor’s in Social Services.
• At least 1 year of direct service experience with Crisis Intervention, including screening and assessments.
• Sensitivity to multi-cultural populations and issues.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• CPR, CPI, and First Aid certifications required on date of employment or within 60 days.
• All regulatory clearances and post-offer examinations may be required; driving may be needed with license and insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide screening and assessment under supervision.
• Assist in linking services needed by members and families to crisis programs and supports.
