Job summary

Telecare Windsor Center in California is seeking a frontline professional to provide screening, assessment, and linkages to needed services for clients and families under direct supervision.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED with 3 years of direct mental health or crisis intervention experience (or an associate/bachelor’s in social services), CPR, CPI, First Aid, and a valid driver’s license for client transport.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED with 3 years direct services in mental health or community services; or Associate's degree with 2 years; or Bachelor’s in Social Services
• Must have at least 1 year direct service experience with Crisis Intervention, including screening and assessments
• Sensitivity to multi-cultural populations and issues
• Must be at least 18 years old
• CPR, CPI, and First Aid certifications on date of employment or within 60 days and keep current
• Contingent upon post-offer physical examination, TB test, background clearances, and regulatory verifications

Responsibilities

• Provide screening and assessment as primary support and case manager
• Assist in linking services needed by members and their families to overcome crises
• Work under direct supervision to support crisis stabilization and recovery
