Job summary

CBEM in San Diego, CA seeks a Critical Intervention Specialist to support individuals and families facing crisis, coordinating care with psychiatrists, BCBA, and psychologists. You will develop Stabilization Plans, review cases, and participate in interdisciplinary meetings.

This full-time, exempt role requires a Master’s degree in a related field and human services experience, plus a California driver’s license. Hybrid work options and a comprehensive benefits package are provided.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Master’s Degree in Psychology, Human Services, Counseling, Social Work, Special Education, Applied Behavior Analysis, Sociology, or related field.
• Experience in the human services field required.
• Must have a California Driver’s license in good standing and insurance.
• Applicants who speak Spanish, Mandarin, Cantonese, Tagalog, and/or ASL are STRONGLY encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to individuals in crisis; preventative, acute, or chronic crisis management.
• Develop a Stabilization Plan and Case Review.
• Consult with a Psychiatrist, BCBA, and Psychologist.
• Participate in a hotline rotation to address acute crisis calls.
• Participate in clinical trainings.
• Participate and/or facilitate Interdisciplinary planning meetings.
