Job summary

CBEM LLC in South Pasadena, CA seeks a Critical Intervention Specialist to provide crisis support and stabilization planning for individuals with developmental disabilities and co-occurring health issues.

You will collaborate with psychiatrists, BCBA, and psychologists; participate in hotline rotations and interdisciplinary meetings; and contribute to training and program development, requiring a Master’s degree in a related field and a California driver’s license.

Qualifications

Master’s Degree in Psychology, Human Services, Counseling, Social Work, Special Education, Applied Behavior Analysis, Sociology, or related fields.
Experience in the human services field required.
California Driver’s license in good standing and insurance.
Preferred experience with the Developmentally Disabled population.
Spanish, Mandarin, Cantonese, Tagalog, or ASL speakers encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

Provide support to individuals in crisis; preventative, acute, or chronic crisis management.
Develop a Stabilization Plan and Case Review.
Consult with a Psychiatrist, BCBA, and Psychologist.
Participate in a hotline rotation to address acute crisis calls.
Participate in clinical trainings.
Participate in Interdisciplinary planning meetings.
