Job summary

CBEM LLC is seeking a Critical Intervention Specialist in San Diego, CA to provide crisis support and develop stabilization plans for individuals with developmental disabilities and co-occurring mental health needs. The role reports to the Program Director and is full-time, exempt.

Requirements include a Master’s Degree in a related field, human services experience, and a California driver’s license. Bilingual abilities are strongly encouraged; hybrid schedules are available with comprehensive

Qualifications

Master’s Degree in Psychology, Human Services, Counseling, Social Work, Special Education, Applied Behavior Analysis, Sociology, or related field.
Experience in the human services field required.
California driver’s license in good standing and insurance.

Responsibilities

Provide support to individuals in crisis; preventative, acute, or chronic crisis management.
Develop a Stabilization Plan and Case Review.
Consult with a Psychiatrist, BCBA, and Psychologist.
Participate in a hotline rotation to address acute crisis calls.
Participate in clinical trainings and interdisciplinary planning meetings.
