Job summary

Washington County is seeking a Part-Time Crisis Intervention Specialist for the Acute Care Services-Crisis Intervention Team. Responsibilities include telephone/mobile crisis intervention, crisis counseling, assessment, referral, and intake duties, with training and flexible shifts.

Must work nights, weekends, and holidays on a rotating schedule; driver’s license and transportation required. Starting pay is $30.60 per hour.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, human services or related field with one year of experience in mental health.
• Two years post-secondary education in related field with four years of mental health services experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide telephone and mobile crisis intervention and crisis counseling.
• Conduct assessments and referrals; act as human services intake worker.
• Coordinate with law enforcement and community providers to determine appropriate level of care.
• Complete health care/medical and financial documentation for billing.
