Job summary

NorthKey Community Care is seeking Crisis Intervention Specialists for on-site work in Covington, KY, serving as part of the 988 Lifeline. The role requires de-escalation skills, crisis assessment, and resource coordination during weekends and holidays. On-site at 502 Farrell Drive, Covington, KY 41011.

Shift availability includes 2nd shift from 4:30 pm to 1 am; holidays and weekend hours are required. First-year PTO, insurance, and retirement benefits are offered, with potential student loan

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of crisis experience or crisis intervention experience.
• Bachelor's degree in human/social services preferred.
• Peer Support Certification encouraged; familiarity with 988 calls is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Screen for suicidal intent and assess safety.
• Use compassionate, nonjudgmental listening to de-escalate crises.
• Work under pressure with individuals in immediate crisis.
• Document interactions accurately and follow up with high-risk callers.
• Provide connections to community resources based on needs.
