Job summary

TrueNorth Wellness is seeking a part-time Crisis Intervention Specialist to work evenings, overnights, and weekends in McConnellsville, PA. You will evaluate and assess individuals during crisis situations while connecting them to necessary resources.

Applicants should have a Bachelor's degree in Psychology or a related field and must be within 60 minutes of Fulton County Medical Center. The position requires three clearances including background checks.

• Must have three clearances: Pennsylvania ChildLine, PA State Police, and FBI Fingerprint Check.
• Applicants must reside within 60 minutes of Fulton County Medical Center.

Job Duties

• Evaluate and assess for safety during a crisis situation
• Use solution‑focused intervention skills and provide resource linkage
• Build rapport quickly and communicate effectively

We provide an 8 week training course so that you feel empowered to assist individuals through their mental health crisis.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Sociology, behavioral health, social service or similar field
• Applicants must be within 60 minutes of Fulton County Medical Center
• The position requires three clearances and a training certificate: Pennsylvania ChildLine Clearance, PA State Police Clearance, FBI Fingerprint Check and Mandated Reporting training
