Job summary

Sweetser in Maine seeks a Crisis Triage Coordinator to provide crisis intervention and stabilization services for individuals in mental health or family crises. You will facilitate communication between the statewide call center and mobile crisis teams and determine the need for face-to-face assessment, arranging safe, appropriate meeting sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; six years crisis intervention may substitute.
• MHRT-C/CSP preferred.
• Clean Driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates communication between statewide call center and mobile crisis to provide efficient response to the request for crisis intervention.
• Develops and participates in implementation of crisis follow-up.
• Determine need for face-to-face assessment and arrange safe meeting site.
• Communicate with individuals in crisis to assess mental status and goals for stabilization.
