Job summary

Quail Run Hospital in Phoenix, AZ is seeking an Intake Counselor for a full-time night shift. The role involves telephonic and in-person risk assessment, crisis intervention, and coordinating referrals and admissions 6p–6:30a.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s Degree in Counseling, Psychology, Human Services, or MSW, with licensure preferred by the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners. Inpatient experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree required.
• Arizona Behavioral Health licensure preferred.
• Experience with intake, assessment, admission and crisis intervention in psychiatric settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide telephonic and in-person risk assessment and crisis intervention.
• Coordinate referral and intake process; determine level of care and facilitate admission.
• Support clinical assessments with physicians, including psychosocial information.
