Pacific Clinics is seeking an EMT‑certified field responder for the TRUST program in California. The role supports Mobile Mental Health Evaluation, crisis response, and outreach in county-supplied vehicles.

This positionis part of a program that has adopted an Alternative Work Schedule (AWS). An AWS is a variation of the standard 5-day/8-hours per day schedule and allows for shifts of no longer than 12 hours per day within a 40-hour workweek without payment of an overtime premium until after the 12th hour in a day or 40 hours worked in a week.
$31.40 - $38.61 per hour
Under supervision is responsible for responding to community-based crisis situations in county provided vehicle as part of the Trusted Response Urgent Stabilization Team (TRUST). Works as part of a multidisciplinary field-based response team, deployed to the community. First Aid Responders will work collaboratively with other crisis responders providing primary and secondary client screenings and basic first aid when appropriate. Additionally, they provide crisis de-escalation, psychoeducation, outreach, and linkage to community supports.

If program requires, employee must pass an initial physical abilities test (PATS) and be certified in crisis intervention techniques within the first 30 days and annually.
If employed at a Crisis Stabilization Unit, employee is required to perform and pass a Human Performance Evaluation Test at a designated company clinic. This will include testing for: lifting, pushing/pulling, repetitive coupling, static weight, and other required movements. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
