Job summary

Kenaitze Indian Tribe in Alaska seeks a Behavioral Health Aide to support an integrated service model under supervision of a Master’s level clinician. You will deliver crisis and informal counseling, preventive care, early intervention, case management and aftercare services to children and adults.

Qualifications

• One year of experience in a healthcare setting required, with Community Behavioral Health setting preferred.
• Knowledge and experience working with cultural diversities.
• License/Certification requirements as listed in the job spec.

Responsibilities

• Deliver crisis and informal supportive counseling services to individuals and families.
• Coordinate with Licensed Behavioral Health Clinicians to ensure coordinated care.
• Maintain case records up to date per Tribal, State and Medicaid standards.
• Operate under supervision of a Master's level Clinician and program manual.
• Respond promptly to community needs with appropriate support.
