Job summary

Maniilaq Association seeks a Behavioral Health Crisis Therapist I/II to provide crisis intervention and stabilization services at the Maniilaq Health Center and the Counseling and Recovery Center. Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Professional Counseling, Psychology, or Family and Marital Therapy; license eligibility for Alaska state licensure.
• Ability to obtain LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or LAP within 2 years.
• Crisis intervention, assessment, treatment planning, and documentation in clinical records.

Responsibilities

• Provide crisis intervention services and participate in on-call rotation.
• Manage caseload including substance abuse and mental health treatment, with assessments and treatment planning.
• Document services in patient’s clinical record and ensure HIPAA compliance.
• Collaborate with medical staff and crisis team for discharge planning and referrals.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to 42 CFR Part 2 and ethical guidelines.
• Assist in court-related processes for involuntary treatment when required.
