Job summary

Spurwink is seeking a Clinician to join our new living room crisis model in Maine. This full-time, year-round salaried role provides comprehensive psychiatric and crisis assessments for individuals aged 14 and up.

You will participate in crisis de-escalation, care coordination, and aftercare planning within a collaborative clinical team. The position emphasizes supporting recovery, self-determination, and strong connections with community supports.

Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited school. Clinical licensure (LCSW or LCPC) preferred. Maine alcohol/drug counselor certification preferred.
• 1–2 years of supervisory experience preferred; may supervise other staff during employment.
• Must maintain required licensing and certification throughout employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive psychiatric/crisis assessments for individuals 14+ in a crisis center setting.
• Perform crisis de-escalation and management to support stabilization.
• Coordinate discharge planning and aftercare services with community resources.
• Engage participants and families to promote recovery and self-determination.
• Maintain regular contact and referral pathways with community providers.
