Gateway BHS in Savannah, GA is seeking a full-time Security Officer to provide safety oversight during admissions to the Behavioral Health Crisis Center. You will accompany staff, monitor visits, conduct searches, patrol the campus, and prepare incident reports while supporting nursing and clinical staff.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and at least 3 years in a hospital or correctional setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; valid driver’s license.
• Prior security officer experience; knowledge of security principles.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods; good communication skills.
• At least 3 years’ experience in a hospital or correctional setting.

Responsabilités

• Patrol assigned areas to deter crime and respond to emergencies.
• Conduct investigations involving incidents in the facility and prepare reports.
• Monitor visits to ensure safety of patients, staff and visitors.
• Assist in floor and campus patrols; maintain security of buildings and property.
• Maintain shift logs and support transportation when appropriate.
