Job summary

Gateway BHS is seeking a Security Officer to provide security during admissions to the Behavioral Health Crisis Center and to protect patients and staff. You will accompany staff during transport, monitor visits, and assist in room searches while keeping detailed incident logs.

Responsibilities

• Provide security during admissions and ensure safety of patients and staff.
• Accompany staff during transport of patients and monitor visitations.
• Conduct room searches and patrol the facility to detect hazards and incidents.
• Prepare incident reports and maintain logs; support nursing/clinical staff.
• Conduct fire drills and inspections; follow agency health and safety rules.
• Assist with guest movement, de-escalation, and daily operations as needed.
