Qualifications

• Demonstrated computer literacy with PC-based software.
• Knowledge of DBHDD guidelines and updates.
• Ability to work varied shifts.
• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to stay focused and adapt.
• Knowledge of law enforcement and security principles.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of two years in behavioral health or crisis setting.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provides a No-Force-First recovery environment.
• Assists admissions, discharges and transfers of individuals.
• Conducts ongoing observation of individuals for reporting changes.
• Collaborates with guests to strengthen valued roles (friend, spouse, employee, student).
• Responds quickly to critical situations that may require Restrictive Interventions.
• Performs room safety checks and ensures rooms are clean and safe from dangerous objects.
• Completes clinical documentation as required.
• Understands and adheres to CPI standards.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
