Job summary

Connections Health Solutions is seeking a Behavioral Health Specialist (BHS) to help maintain safety and support individuals in crisis within our unit. You will take vitals, document care in the EHR, and assist with daily activities while applying de‑escalation techniques as needed.

The role emphasizes compassionate, patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment, with opportunities for further training and advancement within a physician-led, data-driven team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of one year of experience in behavioral health, social services, or related field.
• Must be able to perform Safe Clinch patient restraint techniques.
• The Company has a mandatory vaccination policy and requires full vaccination or approved exemption.
• Physical requirements include lifting up to 50 lbs and the ability to stand/walk for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Manage safety of individuals and staff and take vitals.
• Document services and interactions in the Electronic Health Record (EHR).
• Provide de-escalation and therapeutic interventions to at-risk individuals.
• Assist with daily living activities and transport patients as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness of the facility and assist with unit operations.
