Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of behavioral health or relevant experience.
• Experience using Electronic Health Records (EHR) and basic computer applications.

Responsibilities

• Conducts security screening and inventories property on admission.
• Provides orientation to the Observation Unit and Residential Crisis Stabilization Unit.
• Educates individuals on rights, regulations, and expectations.
• Maintains unit safety and monitors individuals every 15 minutes.
• Intervenes with escalated individuals using de-escalation techniques and applies restraints if needed.
• Documents all services and significant interactions in the EHR.
