Qualifications

• Two years of experience in a behavioral health setting.
• Experience in crisis intervention and emergency evaluation.
• Familiarity with mental health assessment tools and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of individuals in crisis to evaluate their mental health status and immediate needs.
• Collaborate with medical and mental health professionals to develop appropriate intervention and treatment plans.
• Provide crisis intervention and stabilization services to individuals experiencing acute behavioral health issues.
• Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes in accordance with organizational and regulatory standards.
• Coordinate with community resources and support services to ensure continuity of care for individuals post-crisis.
• Maintain a professional and empathetic approach when interacting with individuals, families, and other stakeholders.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with best practices in emergency behavioral health evaluation.
