Job summary

Delaware Guidance Services for Children and Youth, Inc. in Lewes, DE is seeking a Crisis Bed Shift Supervisor to oversee the Crisis Bed Program on their shift.

You will supervise Crisis Bed Mental Health Technicians, conduct initial assessments, and coordinate patient care plans in a trauma-informed, safety-focused environment. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in social work or psychology, a valid driver’s license, and experience in crisis intervention; bilingual candidates are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited school in social work, psychology, or related field.
• Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.
• Preferred: experience leading groups, de-escalating behaviors, and managing multiple clinical diagnoses.
• Preferred: experience in inpatient or residential/group home setting; supervisory experience; bilingual.

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight of the Crisis Bed Program during assigned shift and supervise staff.
• Perform direct client care, assessments, and trauma-informed interventions.
• Document milieu, shift reports, and maintain safety and regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate with families and stakeholders to support client outcomes.
