Job summary

SABG is seeking a Technical Specialist II to support Crisis Action/Watch Cell operations for the U.S. Space Force. The role involves coordinating schedules, training, and exercises to ensure readiness and certifications, reporting to senior Space Force leadership.

Requires TS/SCI clearance, a Bachelor’s degree, and 5+ years in related admin/policy roles, with DoD or HQ experience preferred. On-site Arlington position with base pay listed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree mandatory with 5 years of relevant experience.
• 2 years’ experience at a service level headquarters.
• Experience in military crisis action team or watch cell equivalent.
• In-depth knowledge of service and Joint command and control.

Responsibilities

• Expertise in Crisis Action Team and watch cell processes and activities to include continuity programs.
• Develop, populate and maintain Space Watch Center schedule process including personnel surge activities.
• Interfacing and coordinating with HQ USSF Staff to ensure watch rosters are filled out and current.
• Assist the government in scheduling personnel to support the Space Watch Center including training, exercises, simulations, tabletop exercises, and evaluations.
• Draft and coordinate on regulation, manuals, directives, and instructions.
• Staff and communicate written and verbally with Senior Space Force leadership.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree mandatory

5 years of office administration, personnel, policy, analysis, MS Office Suite

2 years’ experience at a service level headquarters

Military crisis action team or watch cell experience

In depth knowledge of service and Joint command and control

4+ years of Higher Headquarters experience

Crisis Action Team or Command Post experience

Instructional Systems Design experience
