MUST BE BILINGUAL IN ENGLISH AND SPANISH

Responsibilities

1. Assist attorneys with case preparation for traffic and criminal cases.
2. Draft, review, and file legal documents, including motions, pleadings, and discovery materials.
3. Manage and organize case files, ensuring all documentation is current and accessible.
4. Communicate effectively with clients, witnesses, and opposing counsel to gather essential information.
5. Schedule court appearances, client meetings, and attorney appointments.
6. Conduct legal research on traffic and criminal laws and court procedures.
7. Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with the utmost discretion.
8. Translate between English and Spanish as needed.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a legal assistant or in a related field, preferably in criminal law.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Proficiency in legal research and familiarity with legal terminology.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
