  • Maintain accurate class and other records required by the college.
  • Give timely feedback and progress reports to students during the quarter and submit final grades at the end of the quarter.
  • Ensure timely student communication.
  • Maintain office hours.
  • Work cooperatively within the department and college community and attend department chair meetings.

Pay

The pay for classes depends on the number of credits and instructional mode (lab, lecture or a combination).

  • In general, each lecture credit is one hour a week and paid at $124.76 per hour ($1372.40 per credit). For example, if the class was five credits, it would meet five hours per week and be paid at 55 hours for the quarter and the salary would be approximately $6,862.
  • Each lab credit is two hours and paid at $62.38 per hour. Therefore, if the class was a three-credit lab, it would meet six hours per week a be paid at 66 hours for the quarter and the pay would be approximately $4,117.
