Candidates should be able to conduct and publish research on questions of criminal justice and/or criminology, effectively teach relevant undergraduate and graduate courses, mentor graduate and undergraduate students, and engage in service to the School, University, community, and profession.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in criminal justice or related discipline required, in hand by Aug 2027.
• Evidence of an active research program in criminal justice or criminology.
• Demonstrated potential for publications in criminal justice or criminology.
• Demonstrated potential for effectively teaching undergraduate and graduate courses.

Responsibilities

• Publish research findings and secure funding where possible.
• Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in criminal justice or criminology, in‑person and online modalities.
• Mentor students and participate in service to the School, University, and community.
