Job summary

The Utah Department of Public Safety invites applications for the Criminal Information Technician II in the Support Services section. Qualifications

• Clear verbal tone for greeting phone customers when answering phones.
• Able to communicate information and ideas clearly and concisely.
• Able to type 60 words per minute (with little to no errors).
• Must be able to review documents for accuracy and completeness.
• Will be able to maintain confidentiality.
• Will be able to follow written and/or oral instructions.
• Precise sorting and tracking of incoming and outgoing letters and packages.
• Absolute privacy when handling confidential mail.
• Punctual and consistent handling of time-sensitive correspondence.

• Serve as backup for opening mail.
