Responsibilities – What You’ll Do:

• Defend Clients Against Criminal Charges: Handle cases involving DUIs, drug offenses, violent crimes, white-collar crimes, and more.
• Develop Winning Defense Strategies: Conduct thorough legal research, gather evidence, and build strong defense cases.
• Represent Clients in Court: Attend arraignments, bail hearings, pre-trial hearings, trials, and sentencing hearings.
• Negotiate with Prosecutors: Work toward favorable plea agreements and case dismissals when possible.
• Provide Client Support & Guidance: Conduct initial consultations, explain legal rights, and offer expert legal advice.
• Collaborate with Legal Teams: Work with paralegals, investigators, and expert witnesses to strengthen case strategies.

Qualifications – Who You Are:

• Licensed South Carolina Attorney: Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school and active license to practice law in South Carolina.
• Criminal Defense Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in criminal law.
• Courtroom & Negotiation Skills: Strong ability to litigate cases, challenge evidence, and negotiate plea bargains.
• Growth-Oriented & Driven: A forward-thinking mindset with a commitment to continuous learning and career growth.
• Tech-Savvy & Detail-Oriented: Proficient in Microsoft Office and legal research tools.
