Job summary

Jobot in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Criminal Defense Associate to join our established law firm. The role requires a J.D. from an accredited law school and active Arizona State Bar status, with experience in criminal defense and/or prosecution.

Spanish is a plus; onsite work in our Phoenix office is expected. Salary ranges from $100,000 to $150,000 per year, with additional bonus potential and benefits including health and dental insurance, 401(k), PTO, and a car/cell allowance.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Active member in good standing with the Arizona State Bar (or ability to waive in).
• Professional experience in criminal defense and/or prosecution.
• Spanish fluency is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in criminal defense matters and manage cases through all stages of litigation.
• Engage in plea negotiations, trials, and post-conviction proceedings as appropriate.
