Jobot is seeking a Criminal Defense Attorney in Pleasant Gap, PA. This permanent, hybrid role offers substantial responsibility defending clients in DUI and other criminal cases, with a strong case load and generous compensation.

You will manage cases, investigate, negotiate pleas, draft filings, and advise clients while upholding ethics and professionalism. A JD, PA license, and 5+ years' experience are required.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in the state.
• Minimum 5 years of criminal defense experience with a proven track record.
• Strong negotiation skills for favorable plea deals.
• Excellent case management and drafting abilities.
• In-depth knowledge of current criminal law and precedents.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Representing clients in court and presenting evidence that supports their defense.
• Conducting thorough case investigations to identify inconsistencies or inaccuracies in the prosecution’s narrative.
• Negotiating plea deals with the prosecution, balancing the best interests of the client with the strength of the evidence against them.
• Managing a caseload of clients, ensuring that each case receives the necessary attention and that all deadlines are met.
• Drafting, filing, and reviewing various legal documents related to criminal defense cases.
• Staying abreast of current laws, regulations, and legal precedents pertinent to criminal defense.
• Advising clients on their rights, potential penalties, and the likely outcome of their case based on the evidence presented.
• Litigating cases in court, presenting persuasive arguments that advocate for the client’s innocence or reduced sentencing.

Qualifications
