Job summary

The Palmer Criminal Division of the Alaska Court System is recruiting for a Court Case Manager 2. The role requires meticulous attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You will handle case filings, communicate with attorneys, maintain CourtView, and provide training and backup support across desks.

Full-time schedule: 37.5 hours/week, Mon–Fri 8:00am–4:30pm. Benefits include holidays, health coverage, life insurance, and retirement plans through PERS and SBS.

Qualifications

• Graduation from high school or GED AND one year of advanced clerical work experience equivalent to Court Case Manager 1.
• Graduation from high school or GED AND completion of a two-year paralegal curriculum.
• A bachelor's degree from an accredited college.

Responsibilities

• Independently processes criminal and minor offense case filings per procedures.
• Communicates with attorneys and self-represented parties regarding filing requirements and deficiencies.
• Maintains CourtView motions tracking system and processes expedited pleadings.
• Provides backup support and training for other desks and assists as In‑Court Clerk when needed.
• Offers exemplary customer service to court patrons by counter, email, and phone.
