Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Develops plans for crew deployment based on approved vessel assignments and rotations.
  • Facilitates crewing deployment activities from documentation, training and dispatch up to repatriation of seafarers.
  • Coordinates with internal and external contacts for dispatch- and disembarkation-related activities (PEME, PDOS, travel bookings, training enrolment, etc).
  • Prepares relevant reports to aid management of crewing operations.

Job description

In this role, you'll work with minimal supervision while prioritizing effectively, maintaining continuity despite interruptions, and keeping operations running smoothly. You'll apply your technical expertise to develop new ideas and systems, improve existing processes, and drive continuous improvement. Beyond your technical expertise, you'll build strong relationships with seafarers and internal stakeholders through clear communication, trust, and professionalism.

Areas Of Responsibility

The position provides support in all areas of crewing operations, including deployment, rotation, and vessel assignments of seafarers.

Tasks

The Crewing Coordinator—

  • Develops plans for crew deployment based on approved vessel assignments and rotations
  • Facilitates all crewing deployment activities from documentations, training and dispatch up to repatriation of seafarers
  • Coordinates with internal and external contacts for dispatch- and disembarkation-related activities as Pre-Employment Medical Examination (PEME) administration, Pre-Departure Orientation and Seminar (PDOS) schedule, domestic/international flight/hotel bookings, mandatory training enrolment, final briefing, exit interviews, port disbursement processing, etc.
  • Prepares relevant reports to aid management of crewing operations
Qualifications

  • 1–2 years of relevant work experience (preferred but not required)
