Role and Responsibilities

Crew Members will have the opportunity to learn new skills in the lawn maintenance industry. You must be able to work outdoors in all safe weather conditions. When working on our maintenance crews, you will use various equipment such as edgers, string trimmers, pruning shears, blowers, and hedge trimmers. Additionally, you will hand-pick weeds from plant beds and perform cleanup. Minor tree pruning from the ground using a manual pruner will also be part of your responsibilities. You are required to follow safety guidelines when using lawn maintenance tools. You will report to a Crew Leader who will provide specific training to help you meet quality, productivity, and safety standards.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• Previous experience is helpful but not required.
• Basic understanding of the Lawn Maintenance industry.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and dependability (punctuality and reliability).
• Flexibility to work overtime and on Saturdays if needed.

Physical Characteristics

• Frequently stand, walk, or crouch on narrow or slippery surfaces; stoop, kneel, or bend to pick up or move objects.
• Walk long distances on sloped and uneven terrain.
• Lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Normal manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
• Corrected hearing and vision to normal range.
