Job summary

Juniper Landscaping is seeking Crew Members for our Landscape Construction teams in Raleigh, NC. You will perform work on jobsites to deliver beautiful landscapes for our clients, including planting, sod, hardscape, mulch, and irrigation installations.

Ideal candidates have landscape construction experience and are willing to work outdoors in extreme weather. Must be able to bend, stoop, twist, and lift up to 50 lbs., using hand and power tools as needed.

Qualifications

• Prior landscape construction/installation experience preferred.
• Ability to work long hours outdoors in extreme weather.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and using hand/power tools.

Responsibilities

• Plant trees, shrubs, and flowerbeds.
• Lay sod and install mulch.
• Install pavers, stone walls, and other hardscape features.
• Irrigation/sprinkler installation.
• Move soil, equipment, and materials.
• Operate hand and power tools safely.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Planting trees, shrubs, and flowerbeds
• Laying sod
• Installing pavers, stone walls, and hardscape projects
• Installing mulch
• Irrigation/sprinkler installation
• Digging trenches and holes
• Prepping soil areas for plantings
• Hand-watering
• Moving soil, equipment, and materials
• Using hand tools, power tools and/or equipment to perform landscape construction/installation duties
• Performing miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

Skills and Requirements:

• Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
• Adhere to jobsite and company safety protocols
• Landscape construction/installation experience preferred
• Must be able and willing to work for long periods of time outside (in extreme temperatures and direct sunlight)
• Must be able and willing to bend, stoop, and twist repeatedly throughout the day
• Must be able to use hand tools and power equipment
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
