Job summary

Jersey Mike's Subs is seeking shift leaders or crew members for on-site roles in the Richmond, VA area. Compensation ranges from $15 to $20 per hour, including $13 base pay plus tips; $15 minimum for entry level.

Benefits include free regular-size sandwich, free drink refills, health/vision/dental insurance, and paid training at our dedicated Training Facility. No experience is required, and you will join a fast-paced team with opportunities to learn multiple roles.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years of age or older due to equipment age-restrictions.
• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting guests in a friendly manner.
• Operate POS system and cash register accurately for transactions.
• Handle food with care and follow proper food handling procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the restaurant.
• Assist with basic food preparation tasks as needed.
• Uphold company policies and procedures to ensure a smooth operation.
• Learn and adapt to different roles within the restaurant environment.
• Participate in both Training Center programs, typically Wednesday and Thursday evening from 5:30pm-8:30pm (Training Center is in the back of our Jersey Mike's located at 11413 Midlothian Turnpike)

Physical Demands

• Capability to stand for long periods of time on hard surfaces
• Frequent bending, stooping, and lifting
• Frequent, repetitive motion of shoulder and elbow to operate the slicer (if 18 and older only)
• Be able to lift 20 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally
