Jersey Mike's Subs in Daleville, VA is hiring Shift Leaders or Crew Members to join our fast-paced team. We offer flexible hours, base pay plus tips, and opportunities to develop customer-service and food-service skills.

No prior experience is required; training is provided at our Training Facility and sessions are held Wednesday and Thursday evenings. This role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and a friendly guest experience.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years or older due to equipment age restrictions.
• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting guests in a friendly manner.
• Operate POS system and cash register accurately for transactions.
• Handle food with care and follow proper food handling procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the restaurant.
• Assist with basic food preparation tasks as needed.
• Learn and adapt to different roles within the restaurant environment.
• Participate in Training Center programs, typically Wednesday and Thursday evening from 5:30pm-8:30pm (Training Center is in the back of our Jersey Mike's located at 11413 Midlothian Turnpike)

Compensation/Benefits:

• $15-20 per hour total compensation includes $13/hour base pay + tips (base pay determined by position applied for and experience/qualifications. $15 per hour minimum for entry-level with zero experience or qualifications)
• Free regular size sandwich plus free drink refills each shift

• Paid Training in our own Training Facility.

Physical Demands:

• Capability to stand for long periods of time on hard surfaces
• Frequent bending, stooping, and lifting
• Frequent, repetitive motion of shoulder and elbow to operate the slicer (if 18 and older only)
• Be able to lift 20 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally
