Job summary

Mariani Landscape is hiring Crew Members to contribute to the visual appeal and health of diverse landscapes in Lake Bluff, Illinois. You will maintain lawns and gardens, perform seasonal pruning, and help deliver high-standard outdoor living projects.

You will operate mowers, trimmers, blowers, and other equipment outdoors in varying weather conditions, while upholding safety and attention to detail on client properties.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of proven work experience as a Landscaper or similar role.
• Must be able to operate maintenance equipment including lawnmowers, leaf blowers and hedge trimmers.
• Landscaping is a physically demanding job - expect to lift heavy objects, bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions (heat, cold, rain).
• High attention to detail with excellent organizational skills to oversee several projects at a time.

Responsibilities

• Conduct general maintenance duties such as mowing lawns, edging, and trimming.
• Plant new decorative bushes, flowers, plants and shrubs.
• Remove weeds and dead plants as needed to preserve the health and natural beauty of the plants
• Trim overgrown limbs, hedges and leaves to ensure an appealing look to the area
• Operating various landscaping equipment, such as mowers, trimmers, blowers, and tillers.
