Job summary

Mariani Enterprises, LLC in Los Angeles is seeking motivated Crew Members to join our landscaping team. You will maintain lawns and gardens, perform seasonal pruning, and help build beautiful outdoor spaces for our clients.

This role offers a supportive, safety‑conscious environment with opportunities to grow your skills across a nationwide network of family companies. Physical effort is required, and you’ll work outdoors in different weather conditions.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of proven work experience as a Landscaper.
• Specific experience in enhancement projects is a plus.
• Knowledge of plant identification and proper planting techniques.
• Ability to operate landscaping equipment safely and efficiently.
• Understanding of hardscaping principles and techniques.
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
• High attention to detail with excellent organizational skills to oversee several projects at a time.
• Must be able to operate maintenance equipment including lawnmowers, leaf blowers and hedge trimmers.
• Landscaping is a physically demanding job - expect to lift heavy objects, bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions (heat, cold, rain).

Responsibilities

• Install of plant material like planting trees, shrubs, flowers.
• Bed preparation and maintenance like weeding, edging, mulching, and fertilizing.
• Assist with the construction of patios, and other hardscape features using various materials such as pavers, stone, and concrete.
• Load, unload, and transport materials, tools, and equipment.
• Collaborate effectively with other crew members and supervisors to complete projects efficiently and to a high standard.
• Follow all company safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.

Position Range: $17.00 - $20.00
