Job summary

Tropical Smoothie Café is seeking Crew Members to deliver exceptional hospitality and fast, friendly service in a lively café setting. You will help prepare ingredients, assemble fresh smoothies and foods, and ensure clean, well-organized work areas while maintaining brand standards.

Ideal candidates are energetic, reliable and able to work flexible hours including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Interacts with crew members and customers using ‘Tropitude’ (Tropitude is our “mojo” and what makes Tropical Smoothie Café fun and different. It means having energy and creating a positive atmosphere.)
• Delivers ‘Unparalleled Hospitality’ to each customer that visits our café
• Prepares ingredients for our food and smoothies
• Assembles and serves fresh food and smoothies prepared to Tropical Smoothie Café’s standards
• Uses our sanitation practices to handle and prepare food
• Sets up and monitors food and smoothie work stations
• Cleans and organizes kitchen, workstations, dining room, restrooms, and any other areas in the café
• Follows the steps to operate the register including taking customer orders, accurately handling cash, and being responsible for the drawer
• Follows all safety and security policies set by the brand
• Performs any additional tasks necessary to run the café

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

• Legally able to work within the State and Federal guidelines

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Continuous standing and walking throughout the duration of each shift
• Bending, lifting and carrying up to 25 pounds to perform duties like stocking, refilling ice, or taking out trash
• Constant face‑to‑face interactions with crew members and customers
• Safely navigate in a fast‑paced café environment
• Ability to multi-task and remain positive in sometimes stressful working conditions

WORKING CONDITIONS

• Most shifts are between four and eight hours, but this may vary
• Crew Members can expect to have some early mornings, late evenings, weekend, and/or holiday hours
• Comply with the Tropical Smoothie Café uniform and personal hygiene policies for each shift
• Fun, fast paced, upbeat environment with no fryers!
