Jersey Mike's Beaverton is seeking a crew member to greet guests, take orders, prepare sandwiches, and ring up payments in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment.

You will ensure accuracy, operate the POS, handle cash, and deliver orders with a smile while following food safety standards and in-store promotions.

POSITION SUMMARY

The crew member is responsible for taking guests orders, making sandwiches, ringing in orders and taking payment from the guest.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Hold the guest as the most important priority at all times
• Enthusiastically greet the guest making eye contact and smiling
• Take the order listening closely to ensure every order is filled promptly and accurately

• Use kitchen equipment to slice and cook sandwiches
• Ensure orders are entered in the POS system accurately
• Collect payment from the guest
• Assemble the order checking for accuracy
• Deliver the order making eye contact and repeating the order number and prepared food
• items
• Thank the guest and invite to return again
• Communicate guests feedback to restaurant management
• Educate guests on products offered
• Resolve guest concerns with respect and a sense of urgency
• Understand in store marketing promotions
• Execute new product rollouts including selling to guests and product execution
• Utilize cash control procedures

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

• Must be at least 15 years of age

ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL FUNCTIONS

• Must have the ability/stamina to work a minimum of 10 hours a week.
• Ability to stand/walk for 10 hours per day.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Will frequently reach, bend, stoop
• Must be able to work in both warm and cool environments, indoors and outdoors.
• Must be able to tolerate higher levels of noise from music and customer traffic.
