Job summary

Andy’s Frozen Custard in Arlington, TX is seeking Crew Members to deliver quality treats with a focus on safety and efficiency. The role requires handling orders, cash, and maintaining high standards for product preparation and cleanliness, including late-night and weekend shifts.

Training on food safety and company policies is provided to ensure excellent customer experiences. Positions are full-time or part-time with benefits for 30+ hours/week.

Qualifications

• Must be 16+ years of age.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
• Ability to work late nights, weekends, and some holidays.
• Can manage cash according to cash handling policies.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to use touch-sensitive POS System.

Responsibilities

• Custard: Memorizes recipes and standards.
• Custard: Operates custard machines and ensures high quality product is produced.
• Custard: Ensures all custard/food items are prepared according to Andy’s standards of quality, consistency, and timeliness.
• Custard: Completes designated Food Safety and Training programs as prescribed.
• Crew: Maintain a calm demeanor during periods of high volume or unusual events.
• Crew: Perform cleaning duties to keep equipment and facilities sanitary.
• Crew: Follow and reinforce Andy’s operational policies and procedures.
• Crew: Follow and reinforce Andy’s Dress Code and Personal Appearance Policy.
• Customer: Deliver legendary customer service with a customer comes first attitude.
• Customer: Efficiently accept orders, create treats with accuracy, serve treats to customers.
• Customer: Handle transactions and cash changes if needed.
• Customer: Maintain health and safety regulations.

The Crew Member demonstrates Andy’s Standard of Excellence in preparation of quality treats in a clean, safe, and efficient manner so that customers can have an excellent experience.

To be considered for this position you must be at least 16 years of age.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Custard:

• Memorizes recipes and standards
• Operates custard machines and ensures high quality product is produced
• Ensures all custard/food items are prepared according to Andy’s standards of quality, consistency, and timeliness
• Completes designated Food Safety and Training programs as prescribed

Crew:

• Maintain a calm demeanor during periods of high volume or unusual events to keep store operating to standard
• Performs cleaning duties, including but not limited to: sweeping, mopping, and washing dishes using approved cleaning products to keep equipment and facilities sanitary
• Follow and reinforce Andy’s operational policies and procedures
• Follow and reinforce Andy’s Dress Code and Personal Appearance Policy

Customer:

• Deliver legendary customer service to all customers by using a “customer comes first” attitude
• Efficiently accepts orders, creates treats with accuracy, serves treat(s) to customers
• Handles transaction for customer and accepts payment or makes change if needed
• Always maintain all health and safety regulations
