Valor Environmental of GA, Inc in Griffin, GA is seeking a Full-Time Crew Leader for construction and landscaping responsibilities on-site. You will lead daily crew activities, manage materials, and collaborate with clients to ensure quality work while maintaining safety and efficiency.

The role requires leadership experience, a valid driver’s license, and comfort with technology. You must be able to work outdoors in all weather, including weekends and extended hours as needed.

Responsibilities

• Leads all crew work for the day, including driving to site, material management, quality control, inspections, field communication, and safety measures.
• Interacts with clients on site to ensure work is completed as specified.
• Reinforces company culture with crew in terms of attire, work ethic, safety, and attitude.
• Ensures job materials are well-kept, maintained and not wasted.
• Leads field work and becomes adept at installing and maintaining storm water protective measures.
• Operates heavy equipment (trencher, skid steer, bobcat, backhoe, sweeper) and truck/trailer safely; follows laws/regulations.
• Demonstrates organization and ability to use electronic devices (phone/computer) for tasks.
• Completes required paperwork and submissions accurately and timely.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Full-Time Crew Leader (Construction/Landscaping) - Griffin, GA

Job Responsibilities

• Leads all efforts of crew work for the day’s events (driving to site, management of materials, quality of work, sign off on inspection reports, communication in field, care of materials and tools, managing overtime, illustrating safety measures, etc.)
• Interacts with clients on site to assure work is done
• Reinforces company culture with crew (attire, communication, work ethic, safety, attitude)
• Assures that job materials are well kept, maintained and utilized without waste
• Leads the work effort in the field and becomes adept at installation and maintenance of storm water protective measures
• Operates heavy equipment (trencher, skid steer, bobcat, backhoe, sweeper) and truck/trailer safely. Abides by all applicable laws/regulations.
• Demonstrates organization and electronic usage capability (i.e. using phone, computers, etc.)

Requirements

• Previous construction or landscaping experience preferred
• Previous leadership experience
• Must have a valid Driver’s License
