Job summary

Challenge Unlimited seeks a CDC Crew Lead Janitor for Fort Leonard Wood. This full-time role leads a cleaning crew, performs contract-required tasks, and ensures safety and quality standards are met. No driving is required.

Typical shift is 5:30am–2:00pm, Monday/Wednesday/Friday, with a pay rate of $18.24 per hour. Benefits include life/medical insurance, dental, holidays, vacation, sick days and a 401K plan.

Qualifications

• Pass federal and state background checks.
• Must have a Valid Class E License.
• Must be at least 21 years or older for driving insurance.
• Pass driving background check.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Ability to follow instructions.
• Lifting and carrying up to 45 lbs.
• Pushing and pulling up to 45 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assist crew in completing contract required tasks.
• clean, sanitize and restock bathrooms including sinks, toilets, glass and mirrors, stall walls, stainless steel and sweeping and mopping floors.
• Empty trash and various recyclable cans and replace liners, clean receptacles, as necessary.
• Dust and clean office areas, desks and furniture that are not cluttered.
• Clean break rooms and other areas that are applicable to the contract.
• Maintain quality control standards. Complete regular inspections and correct any deficiencies and rectify any customer complaints.
• Maintain inventory of supplies, equipment and assuring proper use of company resources.
• Inform manager of any needs that cannot be satisfied with current equipment, supplies and when to reorder products.
• Safelyuse/operate equipment and perform preventative/minor maintenance on equipment.
• Contributes to teamwork by training and helping co-workers
• Continually performs duties with a special focus on safety, quality and customer service
