Job summary

Attic Projects LLC is hiring a Crew Lead for attic and crawl space restoration. You will supervise multiple crews, mentor teammates, and serve as the main client contact while ensuring safety and high-quality results.

Role requires 1 year in restoration or related field and 2+ years of leadership, with 5+ years in skilled trades. Compnay offers training, competitive pay, and full benefits after 90 days. This position is on-site with typical M-F hours and occasional overtime.

Qualifications

  • Attic and crawl space restoration experience, min 1 year.
  • Skilled trades experience in plumbing, carpentry or electrical, min 5 years.
  • Proven leadership experience: at least 2 years managing small teams.
  • Ability to mentor crew and develop skills.
  • Experienced in client communication and problem resolution.
  • Familiarity with PPE and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate daily crew activities.
  • Ensure safety protocols on job sites.
  • Train crew on installation techniques and handling.
  • Manage assets: personnel, materials, tools, equipment.
  • Communicate progress and issues with clients and team.
  • Complete end-of-day paperwork and job site reporting.

Role and Responsibilities

As a crew lead for Attic and Crawl Space restoration, you will play a key role in efficiently managing project timelines and resources to meet deadlines and budgets. Your leadership skills will be essential in building and leading a cohesive team that works collaboratively to deliver high-quality results. Additionally, you will be responsible for mentoring and developing crew members to help them grow professionally within the company. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring their satisfaction and addressing any concerns or issues promptly and professionally.

  • Supervise and coordinate daily activities of crews. (e.g. attending morning meetings, ensuring equipment and materials are available, assigning tasks to crews, etc.)
  • Ensures adherence to safety protocols and regulations on job sites.
  • Trains/mentors crew on proper installation techniques and safe material handling protocol.
  • Manages all assets necessary for daily projects: personnel, material, tools, and equipment.
  • Communicates job progress, material requirements, and issues encountered at the site.
  • Ensures work meets company standards and client expectations.
  • Resolves minor conflicts/disputes among crew members in a professional manner.
  • Oversees loading/unloading materials and equipment, ensuring proper handling to job sites.
  • Serves as a primary point of contact for clients during job execution.
  • Manages project paperwork to account for accurate material usage and labor allocation.
  • Gets job completion paperwork signed and verifies payment amount to collect.
  • Completes end-of-day paperwork.

Training can be from 5-14 days, depending on your prior experience. Continued training is provided on new OSHA requirements, processes, equipment or materials.

A Sample Day (but not limited to)
  1. Start the day at 6am for department safety meetings (time varies by seasons, from Oct. to May it could be 6:45am)
  2. Load trucks and prepare materials based on job scope of work
  3. Review jobs for the day with crew leads
  4. Perform the assigned job at the work site (usually 1 site per day, 7-10+ hours depending on scope of work)
  5. Return to the office after completing the job, unload and clean up trucks
Qualifications
  • Prior experience in attic and crawl space restoration, rodent proof, insulation installation (at least 1 year), And other skilled trades such as plumbing, carpentry or electrical work (at least 5 years) with a strong track record of successful project management.
  • Proven leadership skills (at least 2 years), with the ability to motivate and mentor crew members (small size team, 3-4 crews).
  • Able to properly use PPE such as respirators (1/2 or full face), 3M masks, protective eyewear, sound dampening headphones, utility gloves, tyvek suiting, knee pads, etc.
  • Have previous insulation/rodent control experience (strong plus)
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Excellent ability to manage client relationships

Details

Job Type: Full-time, not remote

Work hours: Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day (Potential for overtime)

Hourly Pay Range: $29 -$32 (Team will evaluate your performance after 90 days, and there is opportunity to turn into salary: 80k-85k with full benefits!)

Pay Structure: Bi-weekly paydays with direct deposit
