Job summary

Blue Kangaroo Packoutz is seeking a Crew Lead to head up cleaning and packout crews in the field and warehouse, ensuring materials and equipment are ready. You will be the on-site customer contact, capture an accurate inventory, document packouts, and protect contents for transfer to the warehouse.

In the warehouse, supervise cleaning, deodorizing, drying, and restoration; track inventory; and support estimating with timely, accurate quotes.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• 2+ years of contents restoration experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with iCat inventory software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Use inventory software to track transfer and storage of contents.
• On-site: act as the customer contact and capture inventory.
• Document all aspects of the packout.
• Protect, label, and inventory contents for warehouse transfer.
• In the warehouse: oversee cleaning, deodorizing, drying, and restoration.
• Track contents and store in vaults.
• Work with estimator to develop accurate, timely estimates.
• Monitor packing and cleaning supplies to maintain inventory.
• Ensure work meets schedule and company standards.

Job Summary

The Crew Lead will head up cleaning and packout crews both in the field and in the warehouse. They will communicate the scope of the project to the team and make sure the necessary materials and equipment are available to get the job done.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that inventory software is properly utilized for tracking the transfer and storage of all contents
• During the packout
  • On-site point of contact for the customer (policy holder)
  • Capturing an accurate inventory of contents
  • Properly documenting all aspects of the packout
  • Ensuring contents, including furniture, valuable and delicate items, are properly protected, labeled, and inventoried for transfer to warehouse
• At the warehouse
  • Oversee contents cleaning, deodorizing, drying, and restoration
  • Ensure proper tracking and storing of contents in vaults
• Work with the estimator to develop accurate and timely estimates
• Track usage of packing and cleaning supplies and ensure a proper inventory is maintained
• Ensure that all work is completed in accordance the schedule and with company standards

• 2+ years of experience in contents restoration is a plus
• Familiarity with iCat inventory software a plus
