Job summary

Job Location: Surprise, Arizona – RRC Surveying – Surprise, AZ 85374. Position Type: Full Time. RRC is seeking a talented Crew Hand II to help us build the future of U.S. energy production from our Austin/Round Rock Texas office. RRC is a multi‑disciplinary engineering firm that specializes in energy projects, particularly renewable energy, throughout the United States. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Operate conventional and GPS survey equipment accurately and efficiently, measuring topographic features and boundary evidence in support of land development, transportation, utility, energy, and land surveying projects.
  • Set up total station and accurately gather survey data.
  • Locate property corners using a pin finder, recorded deed or subdivision plans or a metes and bounds legal description.
  • Support the movement, organization, and care of materials, tools, and equipment on site.
  • Run line work.
  • Follow instructions that may be written or delivered verbally.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES)
  • 1+ years of experience as a crew hand
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Clean driving record
  • Ability to carry a maximum 75 lbs. of equipment to multiple job sites; able to sit, stand, walk, pull and push
  • Experience assisting in the setup, maintenance, and teardown of equipment or job site materials
  • Experience on Data Center projects preferred
  • Follow instructions that may be written or delivered verbally from Crew Chiefs
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong ability to ensure accuracy
  • Prior experience using hand and power tools
  • Simple mathematics skills
  • Authorized to work in the U.S.
